Decentralized storage has real alternatives. Decentralized hosting mostly doesn't — Spheron retired its storage/hosting product in May 2024 to pivot into GPU compute, leaving the gap open again. Anchr doesn't try to match every chain on day one. It's narrow on purpose: Solana Name Service first, so the wedge is deep instead of wide.
