    "bio": "Peggy Stone Rider, 79, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on August 17, 2021.\r\n\r\nPeggy was born in Lone Fountain, Virginia to Connell and Pearl Conner. She has been a longtime resident of Fort Pierce and was well known for her talent as an Interior Home Designer.\r\n\r\nPeggy was a horse enthusiast. She owned, trained, and was a skilled rider. One of her proudest achievements was winning the Florida Bred Futurity Show.\r\n\r\nIn addition to her love of horses, Peggy helped distribute Everglade Seasoning which was developed by her husband\u2019s family. By far, her greatest passion was her family. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.\r\n\r\nPeggy is survived by her beloved husband Robert Reeves Rider to whom she was married for 63 years. She was the loving mother of Robert P. Rider and his wife Michelle, and Randolph R. Rider; adored grandmother of Jenae Scarborough and her husband Jerry, Zachary Rider and his wife Amy, and Cory Hebel and his significant other Amanda; cherished great grandmother of Olive and Meadow Scarborough, Jaxson, Samantha, and Charlie Rider, and Kailynn-Rose and Kane Hebel; dear sister of Bobby Conner and Billy Conner and his wife Hilda; and many more nieces and nephews in Virginia.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents Connell and Pearl Conner, her brothers Toby and David Conner, her sister Charlotte McClure, and her sister-in-law Vera Conner.",
